In the center of the capital Dakar, dozens of people lined up at polling stations, journalists from the Frances Press agency reported. The priority is unemployment, since there is a significant number of youth who are facing this issue.

Senegalese began voting on Sunday when the country's leaders strive to gain a maximum majority to implement their political agenda, which they favored more than six months ago. Senegalese Pascal Goudiabi (56 years) said: "I hope that the Pasitif party (the party of Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko) will win the elections to get a majority and realize its projects."

Polling stations began to open gradually so that more than 7.3 million voters could select 165 deputies who will occupy their positions for the next five years.
